The only way this Argentine beef deal can crash prices long term, is if people freak out and dump all their heifers into feedlots instead of keeping them.
Our heifers alone can produce more beef than all of Argentina's exports.

Old Cartwright AKA “the Badger” is where they crossed while establishing the 49th parallel July 15th, 1874 150 years ago this year

The town was founded in 1881 and in 1885 the town of Cartwright was moved to current location

I did some math, to go from Cartwright MB to Winnipeg MB in 1903 it cost the same amount of money adjusted for average yearly income, as for me to drive my truck to Winnipeg today
