@rhizolife@GadSaad According to you, white men have spent the last centuries causing the rest of the world to rape our country. So we deserve it, and now we must comply.
@FooManFoo@data_atx These are of course intended to:
a) establish and multiply race-based government graft
b) protect the race-based government graft
c) get the word out on the race-based government graft. This ensures a successful program, which motivates even more expansion.
@data_atx Making it free will result in buses full of homeless druggies with mental issues.
If you wanted to lower costs for the riders, then give them a rebate in the form of credits on their bus card.
@data_atx Everyone wanting the bus to be free has no idea that it incentivizes people who will only ride the bus if it is free.
At that point, nobody who *can* pay will want to ride the bus. Anyone with options will take the options.
To get cars off the road, this plan will never work.
@BikeLaneSpencer@chitoforatx@PaigeForAustin Very convenient!
“We had to replan everything!” - a perfect excuse for:
1. All the delays
2. Way more budget
3. The perpetual Charlie Brown Football. The big thing that never gets built but somehow continues to cost us money.
@statesman@ArrestedAustin Who cares. And stop acting like we are throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
When you drive by UT campus, there are hundreds of other reminders it is UT campus.
It is almost like the street was painted TEXAS just so you can claim we are losing something.
Teachers should be expected to take a Hippocratic oath before they teach. Individual teacher requirements should include:
Maintain robust boundaries
Encourage critical thought instead of political and social compliance
Act in accordance with the parents’ wishes
It should go without saying they should “do no harm” but I’m sure that is too ambiguous for a woke young female.
I’m glad you are wiser now. But have you learned the real lesson yet?
Vote NO on ALL bonds and tax increases. If something is really important, the city can prioritize within their current budget.
Separately, rail was never important and it was never going to help you. You knew that. We all knew that. Yet voters felt so good about supporting rail, so it passed.
