Give Mandami credit. He is doing exactly what he said he would do when elected. He is turning New York into a socialist/communist anti American city by getting “politicians” like Darializa Avila Chevalier elected. Here is just a sampling of things Chevalier has said, tweeted or done. (This is not an onion article. These are all facts)
Founded a group at Columbia with the express goal of overthrowing western society
Called all white women ugly colonizers while criticizing interracial relationships
Wishes she could wipe her ass with a the American flag
Waved a Hamas flag the day after October 7th attacks
Wants no borders
Wants to abolish the police
Wants to abolish prisons
Against all deportations. Clarified that even if a non citizen murders or rapes somebody deportation is immoral
Said all of the United States is on stolen Native American land
Things she has not done in her career. Had a job.
On the brightside though at least she never said America deserved 9/11. (At least that we are aware of yet) Unfortunately the other candidate Mamdani endorsed Aber Kawas did say that. And got elected. In NYC. What a world
In a largely unprecedented financial concession to give roster flexibility to a contender, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson has agreed on a four-year, $156.5 million extension, his agent Sam Rose of CAA tells ESPN --- $113M less guaranteed than he’s eligible to receive in one year.
Old footage of NY Knicks fan Stephen A Smith PISSED OFF while reacting to the Knicks pursuing Jalen Brunson in free agency after the 2022 NBA draft is resurfacing 👀
“I’m tired y’all… The Knicks are acting like he’s KD… JALEN BRUNSON ISN’T THE ANSWER… You creating this cap space to get Jalen Brunson? Is he KD? Is he Kawhi Leonard?… All of this stuff you’re going to because you’re selling New York on Jalen Brunson?”
I will never forget the day Detective Jonathan Diller didn’t come home.
It was Monday, March 25, 2024.
Jonathan left that morning as a husband and a father. His last words to his wife were, “I love you.” Then he did what he had done so many times before. He put on his uniform and went out to protect people he would never even meet.
And then everything changed.
I think about his wife, Stephanie, waiting for him, never imagining that the life they built together would be shattered in an instant.
I think about his son, Ryan, who had to say goodbye to his father without ever understanding why.
That kind of loss doesn’t fade. It doesn’t heal. It stays with you every single day.
To know that the man responsible for his murder was not convicted of first-degree murder reopens that wound all over again.
Detective Diller was a hero.
He should have walked back through his front door that night.
He should have hugged his wife.
He should have watched his son grow up.
He didn’t get that. And neither did they.
My heart is with the Diller family today, and every day they wake up without him.
Today is Stella’s Gotcha Day. 14 years ago she was a sick stray puppy looking for a home. Thanks to @PAWSChicago she was given a chance.
Adopt a dog, will be the best decision you’ve ever made.
Also the gray hairs make her distinguished. We all are dealing with a little gray
It’s been brought to my attention that Chris was on our flight to AZ for treatment on his Stage 4 Brain Cancer (has to fly out every 2 weeks)
Here is how you can help Chris: https://t.co/9jqOE6DYXl
*Chris also showed up to the bar (can’t drink) tonight because he loves Barstool
If you had told people after the 9/11 attacks on the WTC that, within a quarter century, NYC would elect a mayoral candidate who campaigns with an unindicted co-conspirator in the bombing of the WTC, you would have been considered to have a few screws loose.
Yet, here it is. From fighting jihad to embracing it.
What a slap in the face to the memories of those killed in both the 1993 and 2001 jihadist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Four years ago, FDNY firefighter and football player Joe Herman was the subject of an ESPN story about 9/11 and memory. He died a week ago in a motorcycle accident on the Southern State Pkwy., and left behind a daughter, Lacey, who is almost two years old. The Herman family is raising money for Lacey. Here are links to the FDNY's charity and to the story itself.

Former #Eagles Chris Long on the Green Light with Chris Long Podcast talking about Dexter Lawrence and the #Giants defense and why he’s excited to watch them.
“They might have the best nascar package in football”
“You should hear Jason Kelce talk about Dexter Lawrence”.
Dave Portnoy revealed he will match all proceeds from Barstool Sports' "Back The Blue" t-shirt sales and donate back to fallen NYPD officer Didarul Islam's family 📸: Obtained by NY Post, James Keivom, Getty
Police Officer Didarul Islam represented the very best of our department.
He was protecting New Yorkers from danger when his life was tragically cut short today.
We join in prayer during this time of incomprehensible pain. We will forever honor his legacy.

You literally fired THOUSANDS OF WORKERS over a vaccine that barely even worked — less than five years ago. You did so in direct violation of their union contracts. Many of these people lost everything and are still unemployed.
Now you want to hire federal bureaucrats? Why? Because Trump fired them?
In case ANYONE had any doubt about the political nature of these actions, here it is. Not even hiding it.
They fired workers over the vax purely for political reasons.
They refuse to rehire purely for political reasons.
And now they want to hire these federal workers purely for political reasons.
It’s actually a twofer for them — not only do they get to virtue signal about Trump, but they have the opportunity to potentially import thousands of fresh Democrat activists into our bureaucracy and furnish them with comfortable patronage jobs.
Whereas re-hiring the unjustly fired COVID workers would potentially introduce a more hostile political element into our government, and we all know Democrats believe the civil service is just an arm of their own party.
We DO NOT need these federal workers, and before any new push for statewide hiring begins, our first responsibility must be to REINSTATE AND COMPENSATE.
Perhaps it’s time for the federal DOJ to begin a civil rights investigation into these decisions.
Today my family (4ppl) is going to another part of the city we live in to pick up a foster dog!
