#Trump’s firing of Fed Gov Lisa Cook was not done in a true #labor context, but “just cause” as is commonly used & interpreted in most collective barg agreements, does not require a person be convicted or even criminally charged for the firing to be upheld (by an arbitrator).

Can you imagine the scenario when, 1 wk before Ohio St plays Mich in FB, Ohio St athlete's union goes on strike? So, any practical resolution recasting athletes as employees will likely involve a nat'l player's union (ala NFLPA) or at a min a conference specific player's union.
