This time of year, as you drive around the dirt roads in the country, you will see plenty of bearded dragons sitting up in the tops of trees - soaking up the rays - standing sentinel.

Hillary Clinton: “The profit that the Trump family has made off of the presidency could pay for a full year of SNAP benefits for about 1.3M people, 600M free school lunches, or three months of groceries for the 5.2M people who have been thrown off SNAP. Wasting your tax money, the corruption is rife, it’s undermining government services, even our national defense, and hurting people who should be able to get support because of their needs for food or to pay their bills. We already know that he’s a fraudster”
The Lost World at the Bottom of the Deepest Hole on Earth
Drop the Empire State Building into the ground, and it would vanish without a trace. That's the scale of the Xiaozhai Tiankeng — a 662-meter wound in the limestone karst of Chongqing, China, the deepest sinkhole on the planet.
It wasn't dug. It collapsed. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the roof of an enormous underground cavern gave way, and the earth simply fell in on itself — twice. The result is a double-nested abyss: an upper bowl plunging 320 meters to a sloping terrace, which then drops another 342 meters into the pit.
Stand at the rim and you're staring into a geological Russian doll.
But the part that sounds like fiction: at the bottom, there's a forest. A primeval one.
The sinkhole's sheer vertical cliffs act like the walls of a thermos — blocking cold winds, trapping humidity — while an underground river runs eight kilometers beneath the floor, breathing moisture up into the chasm. The result is a warm, eerily stable microclimate: a natural greenhouse sealed off from the world above.
Inside it, more than 1,280 documented plant species thrive. Towering trees stretch dozens of meters toward the distant rim. Among them grow living fossils — the dove tree, the Chinese yew, wild ginkgoes — ancient relict species that survived the ice ages here while their cousins outside perished. Rare ferns and thick moss carpets cover the limestone floor.
And it isn't just plants. Clouded leopards prowl the understory. Leopard cats, Asian black bears, and masked palm civets move through the green dark below, while swallows nest in cities along the rock faces.
A whole ecosystem — predators, prey, and thousand-year-old trees — living at the bottom of a hole, in a climate of its own making, that almost no one will ever see. The planet keeps its best secrets underground.
@RichardGage_911 for full disclosure, show the backside.
show firefighter Miller and what he said before it collapsed.
be open about it being evacuated.
also explain how to demolish a 47-story skyscraper without anyone hearing any explosives or finding any. Sounds like a scam to you?
Gemini 4 Argon - A futuristic 3D battle helicopter made purely in three.js !
Everything you see was procedurally generated from scratch.. this is a result of multi round self iteration loop of Argon + Nano Banana.. I'll share the workflow soon!
There's more to come so stay tuned! Don't miss the ending...
Gemini 4 Argon is amazing for knowledge work and coding - and it’s super fun to build with! We asked it to create this wizard chess game and it's so cool to see Argon's physics understanding & 3D modelling capabilities, makes me nostalgic for Battlechess on the Amiga - fun times!
Argon is rolling out today to Google Ultra and Pro subscribers in the @GeminiApp and Search, and Ultra subscribers in @antigravity! More info & full availability in the blog: https://t.co/7d3791mRNH
In robotics, Gemini 4 Argon is speeding up real-world physical learning.
We let Argon watch a video of a human playing cornhole. It mapped the environment, calculated whole-body joint movements, and autonomously built the simulation code to practice.
When transferred to Apptronik’s Apollo humanoid, the robot sank seven straight shots in a real-world trial.
