"If you're talking about 9,000 jobs and the attorney general is refusing to save them. I don't know. I think that's a pretty good argument to move the attorney general and find somebody who wants to support a growing economy," says @christyclarkbc#cdnpoli
@FSCOTweets Here's a dandy. Ask @Intact_ON if their policy is meeting these obligations. Driver School car and an UberX car at same time.
As a regulator, can't FSCO understand the mess they've created? Which company takes on the Liability for this mess? Intact or Driver School Ins?
Straight up erroneous and out of line is the report calling it “Sikh (khalistani) extremism.” Imagine calling something Christian or Muslim extremism. Rather than specifically ‘far right’ or ‘ISIS.’ #cdnpoli
Good for him. Remove reference to Sikh extremism from terrorism report, urges Liberal MP Randeep Sarai #cdnpoli https://t.co/2XUBPQYQyS via @nationalpost
@KristineHubbard Good news but they need enforcement. If driver found on platform without training, there should be a steep fine for the company. They mandated large PTC companies must provide accessible transport in a timely manner but there's no indication its being followed or any reporting.
@JoshMatlow I hope you're also thinking about the many families of taxi drivers in Toronto, whom largely consist of racialized minorities, that are barely making ends meet after you voted to give Uber unfettered access by eliminating training/safety requirements under the guise of "tech"
Doug Ford takes away the $15.00 minimum wage increase but expects workers to go to the doctors when they are sick and pay $20.00 for a Doctors note. That’s $6.00 more then what minimum wage earners make in a hour https://t.co/vkvKS1Gm5C @fordnation#onpoli#topoli#FordNation
Today on #VeteransDay we remember and honor those who have selflessly served and sacrificed. Those who have and continue to fight to protect our freedoms -I am forever grateful. I miss you so much Dad, thank you for showing me what fighting for something greater than yourself is.
2/2 - important @munkdebate correction continued: the final official audience vote on the resolution as 28% in favor - 72% opposed. Opinion in the hall was not swayed and such the debate is a draw. Our apologies for the confusion.
1/2 - important @munkdebate correction: there was a technical error last night at end of the debate. The vote tally operator displayed the results from the 2nd audience vote at the start of the evening measuring if people were open to changing their minds & not the final results.
If being a white supremacist does not violate the military's code of ethics, then maybe it's time to change the code of ethics.

Quebec Retail giant Simons raises their entry wage to $16/hour. Says it will save them money in the long run via better retention. https://t.co/bkAxgsMBdo #15andFairness#onpoli
@fordnation Kill this private members bill. The insurance industry will pass on the cost to the rest of Ontarians. We don't want to subsidize Brampton ratepayers https://t.co/8X7OM0Blhz
@KristineHubbard @JohnFilion23 Having Mammoliti and Moini shut out doesn't really mean much for Ford. The Constitution gives him rule over the cities, he can basically take full control ofTTC tomorrow if he wants. Plus PC's have more to lose with Brown as mayor in Brampton, key swing ridings there.
@KristineHubbard @JohnFilion23 Term limits are good for municipal politics where the incumbent gets re-elected over 90% of the time. I'd say it was a bad night for Ford having a nemesis in Brown elected in Brampton who can give him problems for some swing ridings in Brampton next election. 1/2
