@NikkiandBillie@NilSatisNews We finished 1 point above last years total. It’s not progress that the rest of the league has less points and a more open Europe race that we were never in. We were never in a relegation fight in years with points totals if you take out what was deducted. No progress in 3 years
@Mattjohns84@F0reverEvert0n@thebullensview What he says in incorrect. We have lost 14 league games this season alone and 18 since Moyes came back. 48(-8), 48, 49 in points last 3 years. The “European” race we were in was only cause 8th place dropped significantly in points from most other years.
@AntGray84@F0reverEvert0n Great point mate. Even under Carlo we finished 10th with 59 points and we were terrible in the 2nd half of the season. It looked like we were making progress this year but last 2 months are terrible. Same old.. it’s culture in the club.
@F0reverEvert0n 48(-8), 48, 49 points is not progress. You can sugar coat some stats all you like but it’s points that matter and we have stagnated. It’s not progress. These players constantly down tools, loosing late goals, it’s all culture. It’s broken and needs a radical change of players
@kennethwall71@mickmcSNB@Pete_Richards67 Ya I was just looking I was thinking there was a break in July but looking further I seen it was going to be for the FAI cup. It would have to be mid week and that really isn’t going to work for Sligo or fans.
@mickmcSNB@Pete_Richards67 Testimonial. Coleman play a half for Sligo half for Everton mid July. Full house few thousand over from Sligo / Ireland. Now that would be a send off, big TIFO from the 1878… what a day that would be, proper send off.
@Pete_Richards67@mickmcSNB Also I’m hearing over here he could actually sign for Sligo. Let’s be honest he is not at Premier league or championship level now and he ain’t going move to MLS / Saudi/ Aus or be offered.
@Pete_Richards67@mickmcSNB Ya but against their reserves as Sligo had a cup game 2 days after. We needed 2 late goals against their Kids. Better planned it can happen. They are good enough and will be mid season for them.
@KieranDuderty@Default69202648 100%. Growing into our new stadium is a bit of a myth. We won more games this year at home than Goodison last year. We’ve have been rubbish at home for years. It’s a bit of a myth that Goodison was a fortress. Previous yes not this decade. Same would have happened there
@MHS35406@EvertonBlueArmy Ya I get ya. It’s difficult when looking at clubs like Brighton Bournemouth Sunderland.. they can bring in players ready and better than we have seamlessly and we’re stuck with same same drab.
@KieranDuderty@Default69202648 the Trippier send off. Doing it after a game the players were clearly not up for is on the club. They won’t accept this tho he will get a testimonial and a better send off. The players and club let him down more.
@KieranDuderty@Default69202648 It’s not just 90 min the last 6 games. But the club announced nothing. A lot of fans didn’t know they were thinking the sub on was the send off. Should have been announced earlier than 3 say’s beforehand so a TIFO or something could be sorted and done before kick off like
@KieranDuderty@Default69202648 It’s nothing to do with Coleman. Nothing was announced and after the worst performance of the season by a long way why would anyone clap the players. Last month and at h all season was brutal. I was going to fly over especially for Coleman but would have left too.
@andrewlaniganla I was going to go over to fly out last minute from Eire at a big expense for this but I wouldn’t have stayed either. It’s more that the fans didn’t want to give any other players any recognition for this and pervious recent performances and efforts. They let us down recently
@MHS35406@EvertonBlueArmy Sorry your right I had 10 in my head. Even still if we lose to Spurs it’s 48, 48, 49 in the last 3 years. That’s not progress. We finished 10th under Carlo with 59 points in ‘01 and bottled the last 1/3rd of the season. The league has tightened up since but we havent progressed
