Found this great report by @jtashea on top blog @rogerjgsmith, integrating current developments in justice technologies, using metaphore of justice-as-a-service https://t.co/6aALW3s1ki. Chewing on where the government and where the market can lead. Cc @MauritsBarendr@Mullersam
@Leasoj @BamLegal @Modria@Relate_charity@larkinslaw To date, the Dutch divorce platform is alive and kicking under the name https://t.co/SYg2wXXVpj which is operated by Justice42. @laurakistemaker is still one of the driving forces behind it. You might want to get in touch with her.
@Leasoj @BamLegal @Modria@Relate_charity@larkinslaw We ran trials in England with Relate and in British Columbia with the Legal Service Society. In The Netherlands, full launches took place for divorce and also rent issues - together with strong partners like the Dutch Legal aid Board and the Rent Tribunal.
@MauritsBarendr@kanandhru@UitelkaarNL Great that a broad body of experience is building and court ODR finally takes some small steps towards becoming more mainstream. Challenges remain the same it seems: technology preparedness courts, opposition from legal profession, non from user experience perspective.
@RichardMoorhead Always thought that amount of the services you are allowed to do in-house as an insurance was critical, but indeed Germany and others proof me wrong.
@RichardMoorhead Loyalty for >10 years. In parallel to "one-off" services. Think we see BTE insurance success in several more countries (Netherlands among them).
@RichardMoorhead BTE insurance can only be closed when everything is fine and no justiciable events are at your horizon. Big differences with subscriptions is that even when you are experience such, you can subscribe.

Massive and transformative step at the time. But isn’t it a bit weird that the accompanying procedures have not fundamentally been changed since? I mean, it is a piece of work, but I find it hard to believe we could not do better with our advanced insights.
