@MrNiceGuyHaHa@PulpCovers The book states Edmond takes hashish, but the Claflin version appears to be a liquid, which suggests it’s laudanum (an opiate dissolve in alcohol). I prefer the latter interpretation for this adaptation…
@GACPodcast17 I would say they will, but I REALLY thought they would sign Edgrton Jenkins for the same reason (he doesn’t count against the comp pick formula). Maybe McDaniel thinks Guards are a dime a dozen in his system?
@GACPodcast17 I think the Chargers intend to sign Elgton Jenkins, who is a very good G/C. He was just released by the Packers, so he won’t count against the comp pick formula.
@fandompulse For fans of this episode, have u heard the theory that Garak had the data rod already, and lied to Sisko into giving him biomimetic gel so he could make an organic bomb with it that would not be detected to kill Vrenak? He also lied about the “many dead operatives” on Cardassia.
@StevenIHaglund I think in Mike McDaniel’s scheme you don’t need to be paying any IOL $20 million APY. You can find functional IOL for his offense at much lower prices. Pay Oweh, not Zion.
@StevenIHaglund I strongly suspect Hortiz will prioritize re-signing the many desirable Chargers players who are free agents, sign a couple low to mid-range free agents from other teams, and then use the draft to fill out his remaining needs. Fortunately, the draft is strong at IOL and DL.
@alexinsdorf99 I gotta think McDaniel is talking about how he outmaneuvered Jesse Minter with inferior personnel in the Dolphins Chargers game last season. Out-thinking Minter is a BIG deal.
@danielrpopper Do you a sense of how much of the week to week game planning Harbaugh is involved in? Does he give Roman & Minter free rein or is he significantly involved in weekly strategy?
@tylerjschoon@alexinsdorf99 The Texans D is really fast. Running outside is difficult against them. Yes, Roman should have mixed in some outside runs, but the Chargers were never going to be able to live there like they did against lesser defenses
