@morrison652@RepNancyMace The consistency is fascinating. One minute it’s “the text is clear,” the next it’s “well actually we have to consider what they really meant.” Almost like people start with the outcome first.
@RepNancyMace The Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution states: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens…”
@SenTomCotton Then deal with the repercussions of his supposed imminent threat assessment because who’s begging for help right now. He didn’t discuss with the other allies before jumping on the bandwagon with Israel. At least someone got the balls to admit it was hog wash.
@DNIGabbard@MeghanMcCain Authority isn’t the same as proof. Saying he determined there was a threat doesn’t mean there actually was one—especially when no clear evidence of an imminent attack has been presented.
@NICKIMINAJ It rings hollow coming from someone who’s spent years excusing or minimizing questionable behavior when it involved people you aligned with.
A one-year dip in a monthly deficit snapshot doesn’t mean tariffs “fixed” anything. Tariffs are taxes on Americans, not foreign governments, and they’re nowhere near large enough to shrink a multi-trillion-dollar deficit. When you look at the full picture, the deficit actually increased under Trump before COVID. This isn’t America First it’s bad math.
@SenRickScott If you truly believed every dollar must provide “ROI,” you’d be attacking your own party’s earmarks as well. This outrage is selective and performative, not fiscal responsibility.
