@7ndrew Why is this an issue now?
They went out of their way to recreate real city and recorded real sky to get this realism because it’s the “art style” of this settings. The setting that belongs to human characters in the story.
The Crew’s identity crisis isn’t Clutch’s problem.
@7ndrew In Kuru’s video, he said the developer acknowledged the ghosting and will eventually address it before the release. There’s still a year left after all.
@DustinEdenYT Finished the game thrice. Love it to death.
Cars feel great, mechanics are fun, map is great, and story is so cool despite all the confusion. It’s definitely up there in my list.
Literally a one of a kind.
@ellerschk@DustinEdenYT This was a very memorable title once you played it.
The missions, the settings, and the driving were all really coherent and always feel interesting.
I couldn’t even finish NFS Carbon and Undercover, but this one really held my attention until the very end.
MW 2005 had Speedbreaker + Pursuit Breakers
Burnout 3 had Takedown + Crashbreaker
Split/Second had PowerPlays
NFS Hot Pursuit had Pursuit Techs
Grid/Forza had Rewind
Now CLUTCH is pushing for Grappling Hooks in the AAA scene.
Let’s see how it’ll go.
Ex-Forza Horizon devs are making an open world racing game called Clutch that feels like Need for Speed and Forza collided into one game
- 150 customizable cars
- Installable car gadgets
- Crime and Police chases
- Open world in South of France
- Near 1:1 recreation of Monaco
- Singleplayer/COOP Story Campaign
- PvPvE multiplayer mode
- 16 player online sessions
- Jane Parry
- Walkable car meets and showrooms
I got a hands off demo at SGF and it was one of the 3 games that impressed me most out of the 20 or so games that I saw during that weekend.

@IndieGameJoe Ooh this looks fun, the sense of speed is great. Though, I have concerns about the visual.
Like, the light shafts through trees, the glare, and the high contrast in the evening map really hinders the visibility, especially at high speed.
Still, I look forward to the release!
@SkyhammerX@holeecrab Well said. It feels like modern racing games tend to be more derivative than revolutionizing. (I miss Split/Second and MotorStorm dearly.)
I guess that's why I am excited for the new Screamer. Its power system is such a banger concept, man.
