Apparently June is scoliosis awareness month as well as pride month, so it's just a great month for people like me who are not straight in any way, shape, or form
@Guyinthesky_ Legit the most dysphoria inducing part of my body is facial hair. I legit had a nightmare I had a thick, black, coarse beard and I woke up in cold sweats rushing to the bathroom to shave again. So no im not enthused about trans woman portrayals with facial hair.
Last week, our Law Department filed an amicus brief in support of transgender New Yorkers, affirming a simple principle: your medical decisions and personal health information belong to you, not the government.
Proud to stand with trans and queer young people across New York in defending privacy and dignity for all.
an unidentified trans woman was found dead, clearly murdered, stripped naked. less than 24 hours after murry frost, a trans man, died. we have no time to ever mourn. every funeral is immediately proceeded by another
@lettuce_isgood As someone who regularly bakes bread, it's definitely not worth it for normal people. Its really annoying and time consuming if you aren't doing it for fun. It also will go wrong and you'll get a mediocre loaf occasionally, more if youre worse at it. Great hobby though.
@fentanylbrownie I did this and then realized im trans and I didn't spend money because I was closeted and suicidal so I didn't see a point. It's an awful way to live
@jzux I eat something with an extreme temperature, could be ice cream or hot curry, but something to help shock my nervous system a bit. Doesn't always work, but its nice when it does.
@MuadDeez I get it, even when im "girlmoding" I find myself not going the final step and keeping it a little ambiguous about whether it's actually fem to try and make it less likely I become a statistic. The things I would do without fear of harm are so much MORE
@BraiththeBrave Naming kids after trees is really common, I know lots of aspens, maples, ashes, even a Sequoia, so Juniper is actually a beautiful name.
@noinconsistency The voice you train is the voice you get, just be conscious of how you sound, listen to some recordings of your voice if you can tolerate it, and have a voice you're aiming for to mitigate that risk
