The #Bears and All-Pro OT Darnell Wright have agreed to terms on a fat new deal to make him one of the NFL’s highest paid, per me and @JFowlerESPN.
He gets a 4-year, $116M deal with $93M guaranteed done by his agents at @OctagonFootball. The former first rounder cashes in.
“When you have the most televised event for the entire year, that should be a reflection of the virtue that hopefully you want society to embody.”
That's why we've made the All-American Halftime Show.
Watch tomorrow around 8PM ET.
Thank you to Brett Veach for giving us the best O-lineman in the league for a 4th rounder...
Pro Bowler, 1st Team All Pro, and now the 1st ever Protector of the Year!
@PCK3RS I feel like on the Bear's side it will come down to getting the offense going early, and then playing red zone D as well as they have. For Green Bay it's about converting in the Red Zone and being able to take away Chicago's explosives. Feeling 31-28 one way or the other.
The #Bears are not tendering RFA linebacker Jack Sanborn, per source.
Their starting Sam linebacker the past two seasons also has seven starts as an MLB, when he had 71 tackles (six for loss) and three QB hurries. He’s now set to hit free agency.
