16th Foundation Day JMCH
General meeting was graced by Chief Guest Honble MLA Jorhat Sjt Hitendra Nath Goswami, Guest of Honour Honble MLA Mariani Sjt Rupjyoti Kurmi, Respected DC Jorhat Jai Shivani IAS, Founder Supdt JMCH Dr B P Das and Dr Dipak Sarma
A blood donation camp was also organized in the blood bank of JMCH.
Today is the 16th Foundation Day of our beloved JMCH.
Daylong celebrations started with Flaghoisting and address by Prof Saurabh Borkotoki Principal JMCH and Supdt Dr M J Gohain.
Faculty, nursing staff, office staff and students attended the program.

Anti ragging Week observed at JMCH 12th-18th Aug 2025
Sensitization program conducted on 12th n 14th Aug by Dr Trishna Dutta n Dr Lavita Hazarika.
On 13th Aug, there was Online webinar attended by faculty, students n staff.Anti-ragging pledge was taken.
Other activities included Poster making, Slogan writing, Selfie corner and Street play by students on 18th August.
The program included fervent rendition of the Rasthra Gaan, recitiation of patriotic poems, song and dance by students, nurses n staff of JMCH.
79th Independence Day celebrated at JMCH today. The Tiranga was hoisted by Principal Prof Saurabh Borkotoki in presence of Med Supdt Dr MJ Gohain, Dep Supdts, faculty, students, nurses n staff.

A CME cum PG developmental programme was conducted by department of Psychiatry JMCH to observe international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on 26th June ,2025
On 24.12.25 Dept of Psychiatry, JMCH observed World Schizophrenia Day to raise awareness, reduce stigma & address myths . A video was displayed which was made by the department, s pamphlets distributed, and patients & attendants spoke openly, making the session interactive.
The other dignitaries present in the meeting included Er. Rubi Bhuyan Executive Engineer, PW(B&NH) Dept. Jorhat; Prof. (Dr.) P Biswanath, HoD, Paediatrics; Prof. (Dr.) U R Pegu, HoD Medicine and Prof. (Dr.) R Bhuyan, HoD Radiology and Smt. Luna Sonowal, APS, Addl. SP, Jorhat.
Meeting of the Executive Council of Society for Medical Education, JMCH was held on 8th May, 2025.
The meeting was chaired by Hon’ble Chairman EC, SMEJ, JMCH cum Hon’ble MLA, Jorhat Sjt. Hitendra Nath Goswami.
