The government is incentivized to prevent cheaper technologies from undermining its tax base.

Cheaper energy means less profits to tax. The government can’t survive off of cheaper prices. So we will have petroleum based energy products for far longer because of the incentive to suppress cheaper energy technologies.

The Left shoots itself in the foot by thinking the government with more power could solve the solution.

The Right shoots itself in the foot by thinking any “green” energy is a trick of the Left.

Our fighting allows those in power to stay in power while we fight each other and support the ruling class.

We don’t have to agree on every policy to understand we weaken ourselves by fighting each other and giving more power to those who already have power.
