@MrMcEnaney@GlasgowCC this is NOT OK!! You have a legal obligation to our disabled children!! Mainstream for all is NOT a free pass to cut ASN specific provision and then not properly fund our mainstream schools.
@MrMcEnaney@GlasgowCC@ScottishLabour councillors not paying the women of Glasgow a fair and proper wage was a disgrace but it’s not ok for those same women’s children and grandchildren to be paying the price. It’s not good enough! The current council are making these cuts and they are responsible.
@MrMcEnaney Our schools already struggle with mainstream for all and need more funding not less. Reasonable adjustments for Glasgow’s disabled children is a legal requirement not a privilege. These cuts will directly impact our most vulnerable children. @GlasgowCC
“This landmark vote is the SNP government’s first defeat of this Parliamentary term and the fact it is on the future of Scotland's young people makes it all the more important.“

As MSPs debated Glasgow's education cuts at Holyrood this afternoon, a protest against them took place in the city council leader's ward.
@GCParentsGroup were behind the action at Langside Halls, demanding the local authority rethink plans to axe 450 teacher jobs in the city.
Parents are protesting in Glasgow tonight over proposals which could see 450 teaching posts cut over the next three years.
@LMcGeezy of @GCParentsGroup tells us the message to officials is “stop passing the buck”.
This is a short list of some of the impacts Glasgow’s education cuts will have on our schools. Please share.
We must unite against these cuts and fight to ensure our children’s educational opportunities are not diminished as a money saving exercise.
