Uganda Revenue Authority is assisting taxpayers map their National Identification Numbers with their Tax Identification Numbers, following the cabinet’s resolution that NINs and Business Registration Numbers are tax identifiers for the taxpayer and businesses.

The mapping is under way in the URA stall at the ongoing 32nd Uganda International Trade Fair at UMA show grounds, Lugogo.

The UMA Trade fair is still ongoing and URA is disseminating knowledge on taxation.

The Uganda Manufacturers Association has recognized URA's efforts in educating the public about their rights and obligations, as well as the different tax heads, who pays what and where the taxes do.

@newsUMA has presented URA with an Award as the Education Pavilion Partner of the 32nd Uganda International Trade Fair 2026.
