To be totally transparent, I was never a fan of One Nation or Pauline Hanson growing up. However as I matured and gained a better understanding of politics, and more importantly where our country is heading, I had an epiphany!!!!!!

I realised that after all these years the left side of politics through its obvious attempts to place First Nations people squarely against white Australia, has created division where there should be unity. It then became apparent to me that this is all a decoy to allow a far left socialist movement and mass migration to change the fabric of this country.

We as Indigenous people have a choice. We either unite for the fight….or we allow our country to become a multicultural wasteland….

I on behalf of many Indigenous Australians who are sick of the woke agenda!!!! will not become stronger as a people or culture if we continue to believe all the nonsense that this toxic left wing movement wants us to believe!!!!!

GetUp has claimed credit for the protest banner that dropped behind Pauline Hanson during her first ever National Press Club address.

The CEO's statement, in full: "It was us."

GetUp seems to think this counts as a win.

The polls, the donation counter and One Nation's last two electoral results disagree.

THE TRACK RECORD GETUP DIDN'T BOTHER READING

GetUp spent $600,000 on a campaign against One Nation at the Farrer byelection. One Nation won the seat anyway.

One Nation also took seven seats at the recent South Australian state election and Hanson has since overtaken Anthony Albanese as preferred PM in the latest Resolve poll.

Today's stunt is the fourth recent test of the same strategy. It it's worked in Hanson's favour every time.

THE BIT THAT IS NOT FUNNY

The banner deployed from behind the speaker, in an area not accessible to ticketed audience members. A drop banner of that size cannot be rigged from a luncheon table. It needs inside access to the staging area before the address.

That access sits with a finite list of NPC staff and contractors. The press club has CCTV throughout the venue and is investigating itself.

The investigation is being led by NPC President Tom Connell, who is also a paid Sky News political host. He was on stage as the banner dropped. He did not pause the address.

THE COUNTER GETUP COULDN'T STOP

Hanson's Fire the Liar fund hit and all time high with $4,559,691 from 73,330 donors against a $4,700,000 target and finished the day closer to her target than she started.

Hanson should be sending GetUp a thank you card.
