@BantrySeedFarms We went with 260lbs, but have done a few ac with 280-300lbs. The software tells you what is possible and i found it pretty accurate.

@LowBoomLowDrift same here....slower is better, but back then the conditions were right and time was short ;-)
We usually go around 6-6.5 mph

@dsolson100 We have the same on our Trimble's on 2 fields. A couple years ago an area got marked in blue colour in the middle of a field. Yield mapping and anything else doesn't work in the blue areas.

@DrewCardy Yes we did it for a few years. We were seeding with the mid rows (20"). The seed openers (10") stayed up and were floating Phosphate on top.
Our JD 1895 had seed openers as Mid rows as well. We stopped doing it because of drier years. Would do it again if cycle changes.

@SolickSeeds so thats what we built. A little longer belting and a “weight” in the back which can be removed. Looking forward to try it out in the fall
