I'm so proud of the quality of provision and the standard of school meals our most vulnerable children are able to access, again, this summer thanks to Rotherham's Healthy Holiday's programme @RMBCPress @christophe_read @return_of_dmc

Last week I spoke to a 74 yr old who spent last winter sitting in his coat in the cold. We got him Attendance Allowance. He said he would be able to have the heating on a bit more this winter. He is trying to sell his home because he can’t afford it on his state & small (2/3)🧵
Recently I was intimidated and mocked in broad daylight simply because I’m disabled. I challenged them but when I got home I was heartbroken. It’s prompted this blog series all about ableism - written in my usual simple terms. Pls share if it’s helpful ♿️🙏🏼https://t.co/zchwffTIkl
We were lucky to go to the premier of #TheFullMonty & after seeing the 1st 2 episodes we can safely say you are in for an absolute treat!
Honoured to have met with writer @alicenut1 to talk about benefit issues. Writing, cast & location is spot on! @active_ind#sheffieldis
Still a few places left at Drama for the Mind group. It's free, it's fun, it's fully accesible and it's a fab way to reconnect if you've been stuck in a rut for a while. Zero experience needed
@carolvorders Oh the joy of a bad education, ignored dyscalculia & 62 years of borderline innumeracy. All of which means I haven’t the foggiest, and I don’t care! 😂
@stand_for_all Well said! There was “nothing” called dyscalculia too - that’s why I was labelled as thick and also why I’ve struggled with numeracy for 62 years.
Please consider nominating my workplace - Active Independence - for a chance to receive a £1,000 donation. As a small user led charity helping disabled ppl & ppl with long term physical & mental health problems, we can make sure £1k goes a long way. Thankyou ❤️❤️
