❤️ Ahead of kick-off tomorrow afternoon, we will pay our respects to our former Head Coach, John Kear, who sadly passed away last month.

We ask supporters to join us in a minute's silence before the match as we remember a man who played a defining role in our club's history.

He helped produce that famous 17–8 victory over Wigan Warriors in the 1998 Challenge Cup Final at Wembley, one of the sport's most celebrated underdog triumphs.

John's legacy at Sheffield Eagles will never be forgotten. His passion, belief and inspiration helped create memories that will live with Eagles supporters forever.

Once an Eagle, always an Eagle. 🦅
