Hundreds of resident Doctor colleagues are going to be unemployed this month.

This is a catastrophic failure of workforce planning by UK Govts & many senior clinicians who have had a role/ influence in workforce planning.

As a profession - we should all be throughly ashamed.

I just finished a Med reg on call shift. My FY1 colleague, by the time I got there, had already delivered life saving treatment at 8pm a sunday.

Don't ever try and tell me that my FY1 colleague is worth £16 an hour. Don't ever tell me they're not worth £22/hr.

Can’t see a GP - blame MPs & NHS England

Core funding for GP Practices has been cut by £2bn since 2016, enough for an average practice to employ 2 GPs, a Practice Nurse & more admin staff

Instead £1.4bn on ARRS ~ additional roles but no GPs or Practice Nurses
