@Kyez0ar @pagb666 has to do with proximity to the explosion, typically the edge of the zombie will be where the dynamite bundle detonates, but if a zombie is clipped into another zombie, and the explosion on one is on the part of the hitbox that's in another zombie... closer boom, more speed

@FPSthetics Yeah fr. I loved 2016 (over 100 hrs played), liked Eternal a great deal (for one playthrough on Nightmare...) and dropped Dark Ages less than halfway through, but the fact that they came back to Doom at all has been extremely heartwarming and great for the FPS genre.

@UnklExpy @blacknredtext Yeah, I agree, Quake 2 is a slower game, & Doom 3 multiplayer is totally dead. I still think they're good games. Being the worst Quake game doesn't mean Quake 2 is bad. All it ever needed was faster weapon switch time, & the remaster fixed that. Even then, Q2 > most FPS games.

@wwxwashere If you like action games, liking Id Software games not only gives you decades of user made mods and stuff, after you're done with the main series of games, it also means that the "retro FPS" genre is now your friend... which means about 40 more games or some shit.
