Thousands of people were killed in Tanzania by Madam Dictator in her desperate bid to retain power through a farcical election in which she absurdly awarded herself 97% of the vote.
When the media reports that thousands have been killed, it is often difficult for readers or viewers to truly grasp the scale of human suffering behind those numbers and the emotional devastation, the loss, and the fear that this shameless, murderous woman inflicted on Tanzanians.
This is the story of Christina, known as Tina to her family and friends.
Tina was a 22-year-old lorry driver who was brutally killed on the 29th of October by Madam Dictator’s thugs.
Please take a moment to listen to her story, and then imagine that thousands of families across Tanzania endured the same nightmare, the same grief, the same unbearable pain, all caused by a blood-soaked dictator who slaughtered her own citizens simply to cling to power when the people had long rejected her.
If this message from Buzeki does not open your ears and eyes, then you need prayers. 2027 elections will be different. Say no to tribalism. Say no to politics of favoritism. Say no to tokenism. Say no to corrupt leaders.
