@OK_Breakdown No it’s not. If the Knicks win in 5-6 games, then it will stick in their head that had they been healthy they were going back to back. They were better just not complete. That will infuriate them and drive them to prove it next year.
@BrianWolfe41778@djgasso It wouldn’t have changed anything whatsoever. They could have played 1 semi final then the other following it. Then if necessary play the other 2 elimination games. The only difference is that a team could rest for a couple of hours instead of immediately going back out.
@KREFsports Until they show they can be competitive you have to bet Texas. Paper means nothing. It’s about heart, and the last 2 years have been embarrassing.
@BrianWolfe41778@djgasso Way to miss the point. You want people playing at their best when you’re at the championship point. You’re going to get the best from these teams if you give them a break between games.
@geola388 I don’t think that had anything to do with it. Then Knicks just play with a different mindset and they’re not scared to attack. They had the Spurs on their heels for a lot of that second half. Oklahoma City played very slow and nonchalantly, which was right into their hand.
@sully7777 That’s an extremely lazy take, although I admit it’s not 100% inaccurate. NIL money had nothing to do with a team blowing an 8-0 in the seventh inning of a regional game. You can pay some of the best players, but they still have to actually perform on the biggest stages.
@klaytheist11 What’s silly is that you don’t understand the difference between what the Thunder did and what all the other teams did. They made a lot of extremely smart moves to set themselves up for the future, and only got lucky one time. The Spurs did nothing and were gifted 3 top 4 picks.
@klaytheist11 I think in your own idiotic way you actually proved @BrandonRahbar ‘s point. They were built on Sam Presti making extremely smart moves and getting lucky one time with the NBA draft. The Spurs did nothing for five years and got three top 4 picks B2B2B. Those are not the same.
@samschwartz71 I think the difference is that he was an 18 year-old freshman. If you’re taking a guard like Shai, who’s 26 and in his prime, that’s a slightly different story. He could score 60 just by himself at his level of skill and size.
@hb_hoops@KFAN1003@PAOnTheMic I want him to stay in Minnesota forever because he’s going to hold them back from winning, which is good for OKC. If they ever wanna be serious contenders, they’re gonna have to get rid of him and find somebody who knows what accountability is.
@KFAN1003@PAOnTheMic Just say you’re an idiot and don’t actually know what’s real. OKC had 2 tank years and only one of those two did they actually get in the top four. The way they built their team is nothing compared to San Antonio who had some of the most incredible dumb luck of all time.
@Three_Cone Doesn’t look like the same team that played us. They’re not double teaming anybody they’re playing straight up one on one. They would’ve played us like that we would’ve swept them.
@VABC1960@cptdankkk No he is actually dead wrong, because it doesn’t take millions to take care of your family if you have your head on straight. You don’t need $10 mil mansions and the hottest clothes on the market. That elitist BS is the issue.
@cptdankkk The problem is inefficient, inflated senses of worth and entitlement. Not the actual amount of money. The amount is not the problem. Fix your elitism lifestyle and you’ll see that you could live on 10% of that.
@StillRadNotaFad It’s because you don’t really understand what the game is. It’s about attack strategies and movement to break down defenses. It’s infinitely more entertaining than baseball where a guy stands there and has a ball thrown wothb20’seconds between pitch.
