Finding runaways/missing persons is hard emotional work. We have to navigate working w law enforcement. That jazz alone is traumatizing. I never realized the hurt my heart holds. The other night, I was so nervous to just speak w/ a cop but we got TWO kids off the street.🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

@christibelcourt I traveled to Palestine 🇵🇸 in 09 and I got detained once we landed. I kept getting asked where are you from? I answered the US. They then asked BUT WHAT ARE YOU? I'm a U.S. citizen and I'm AI/NA. Then I was told NO. WHERE DID YOUR DAD IMMIGRATE FROM? Me = 🤬
