@shah_86_5 @MartinSLewis Many people lost their jobs during the pandemic & are still losing their jobs daily. People had children before all this started when they could afford them.People who thought they had safe jobs have been made https://t.co/4fpPS2Tgcg’s not hard to understand.
@richmazlen@TheRewiredPod@MartinSLewis You can’t compare areas as some areas are more deprived then others which has an affect on numbers. Also unless you know every single person in your town personally you are just making assumptions about them.
@LWD2020@MayorofLondon Imagine if the councils actually allocated children schools that are in walking distance of their homes instead of sending a large number miles from their local school.
@Civilization89 @CheadleJam@EAMONNGIBBONS1 @katy_1357 @MartinSLewis You are going on your area alone. Our local food banks are inundated with families with only 1/2 children. The families you are talking about are in the minority.
@Civilization89 @CheadleJam@EAMONNGIBBONS1 @katy_1357 @MartinSLewis No one can predict a pandemic etc. Circumstances change, even for those who thought their jobs were safe.
@CAROLINEPRITCH3 @ArnieA15@MartinSLewis There is a limit of how much someone can get on UC. Why not take your anger out on the wealthy such as MPs who get expenses paid for by the the working people for things such as Amazon prime etc, instead of taking it out on the vulnerable.
@thePanda84@gamerCliveD@MartinSLewis Have not seen that before about 90 minutes? That would be impossible for the majority who have children or are carers. It would also cost a fortune in either public transport or fuel.
@TheRewiredPod@richmazlen@MartinSLewis That’s incorrect. Not all 642,000 are not working, it was stated that 642,000 could increase their hours. They could be working 20 hours, 30 hours etc.
@TheRewiredPod@richmazlen@MartinSLewis The number is very small that don’t work that can actually work. Also its really not that easy not to work on UC, they sanction you for the smallest things.
@EAMONNGIBBONS1 @katy_1357 @MartinSLewis Again what do you suggest they do with their children? Majority could afford them before all this living crisis happened.
@richmazlen@MartinSLewis These comments are getting boring now. Why not do some actual research on UC and the actual figures. Then when you have done that go and have a look at the MPs expenses and see what you pay for them.
@sophie_seckers@MartinSLewis Maybe have a read up on UC and look at the figures as a very large number work. They work full time in low wages and are subsided by the government because of it. Why are you not angry that you pay for the governments expenses? Instead you take it out in the vulnerable.
@corky69x@MartinSLewis Maybe have a look at the figures and you will see that a large number who can work do work and they work full time! You also pay for the MP’s expenses like Amazon prime etc so you are actually paying for the wealthy!
