@sakebu_cheese_ If you want a practical guide book with lessons and drills to become more consistent, this is what our grandparents and great-grandparents used in school.
@gearbox_reviews@Vawlkus Honestly I don’t even mind paying a little more or not feeling like I got the best deal. I just don’t want the BS. Put your best or current pricing on there and if I like it, let me click “buy now.” I’m not looking to come in person and discuss with the manager for 8 hours.
@Bunny_ngl I’m convinced there’s a conspiracy to make the keyboard so shitty you’re more inclined to use voice to text. For some kind of AI or other training reason.
When I first bought my house I was overwhelmed with a bunch of little things and decided to bite the bullet and have a plumber help with a leaky sink. He told me about a Home Depot DIY book that he’d found useful to learn stuff. He was like “you’ll wonder why you ever called.” And there’s some truth, a lot of things are simple and I’ve been doing them myself. Other times it’s just not worth my time to deal with it and I call a professional to make the problem go away.
Electrical Engineer here. What they don’t want you to know is, it’ll actually make the phone run faster because the laptop charger unlocks it. They have this charger scam to make people buy more laptops.
@SGTWipper1Each@RonnieDempsey I asked my dentist about it one time. They actually aren’t running very late. It’s intentional. The actual appointment is later than they tell you because so many people arrive late.
@TheTexanater@Paul0Montenegro Seriously. Reducing back and forth and getting a clear quote with expectations aligned and everyone on the same page. Why wouldn’t everyone want that? Unless they are indeed trying to scam.
@omgsidewalks Start a call with yourself and no one else. It’ll show you as on a call. This also works to pop out of a call for a minute. It’ll put you on hold.
@Ingrid__Third@TiffaniMarie483 Another one I recall: when I was acting up once, my dad said he was going to punish me if I didn’t stop. I didn’t know that word. I thought he was threatening to punch me!
