Reporter: "Attorney General, on your Facebook page three days ago, you wrote, ‘What this young woman has been forced to endure is horrific and unacceptable. I'm holding her in my heart and in my prayers. To her and to all survivors, you're not alone. We stand with you.’ Why did you affirm her allegations as fact without doing your own fact-finding investigation? And to the governor, why did you appoint an official who made a public statement affirming those allegations as fact as someone who's supposed to be doing an investigation?”
New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D): “I will answer that. I have every confidence in our Attorney General to do what she has always done. Look at the facts, examine the record, and draw the proper conclusions. That's exactly what's going to happen in this case. Attorney General, please.”
New York Attorney General Letitia James: “I will not comment on a Facebook post.”
Great question!
@BaseddGhost@DaKing_B1 Then to add insult to injury they were given awards such as company high shooter so the higher-ups could report to the people in the Pentagon that they had females getting awards even though they were nowhere close.
@BaseddGhost@DaKing_B1 They carried less weight, they had to be at the very front of the formation for our conditioning hikes, and the hikes pace was lowered to a much slower pace. They didn't have to do fire watch or do their turn on watch all night at the patrol bases.
@BaseddGhost@DaKing_B1 Also it's probably just putting the standard back to where it was before Obama. I got to ITB in 2013 and we had one of the first group of females in our platoon and combat instructors were very open about the ways the higher-ups were changing the standards for the female Marines
@BaseddGhost@DaKing_B1 It's funny how most people upset don't understand the Marine culture. Even male Marines that passed with a minimum score or too far away from the 300 Mark were thought of as subpar so we would need to see a breakdown of their actual scores and not just a pass fail percentage.
@Doc_Texas I had turf toe my sophomore year of high school football playing QB and you're right, it never goes away. It would go away in the off season but each following season it would come back. Someone that needs to make alot of plants and cuts will have real trouble with it
@BamesJurky@MavsAddict7@BreidenFehoko You're just being obtuse. You know damn well there was not this outrage over Jacob literally beating a woman, especially on Twitter. There may have been coverage but not this type of outrage, especially from female reporters.
@CEOx30@SuaKCravens OMG thank God Arch apologized. Just in time. I was literally about to beat my wife because I saw an AI video of a reporter getting smacked. Who knows how many women were beat before Arch apologized for thinking the video was funny! Disgusting.
