@chrislhayes seems like a nice guy, but his show has become the “what do former republicans and centrist democrats think?” time slot. It’s a sad step down for a show that used to feature interviews with progressives and conversations with Ta-Nahesi Coates.
@mckaycoppins@chrislhayes I love Chris, but he’s been working overtime to talk about the election without ever saying “race” or “gender,” and it’s giving white liberalism.
@allinwithchris@chrislhayes How do you have a whole block on what happened in the election that doesn't mention racism or misogyny at all? Are we really back to the narrative that Trump voters are economically fragile?
@mcastimovies Movies are a question of personal taste, interpretation, and so on, but... um... did you watch the whole movie? Because I was also worrying that it might end up being predictable, and then it really, really, really wasn't. So I'm confused by your review.
Kamala Harris had one assignment: To please centrist DC pundits with lightly-read magazine columns. In selecting Tim Walz, she has flunked that assignment.

@altonbrown@BrianKempGA My dude, this is not a fruit of the poison tree situation. If someone says they’re angry, then proceeds to make excellent arguments, that truth is not invalidated by their emotion. The 8th graders we teach get it. As I said, though, it’s a great distraction from actual substance
@altonbrown@BrianKempGA One of the most rhetorically effective and substantively weak arguments you can make is to accuse your opponent of being emotional as though that invalidates the arguments they’re making. It’s a common Trumpian move, and it misunderstands how emotion works in argument. But go on.
I'm sure the French are very upset that their world-famous art and culture are not appreciated by US conservatives who just 10 days ago displayed their own cultural finest: Kid Rock, Hulk Hogan, Amber Rose & their Jesus: a convicted felon who cheated on his wife with a porn star
