@Alphons63 And as for whther it was "plagiarised", thats not really the right framing for why this is an issue for me. I can't claim ownership over the idea.
There are more "coincidences" which cause this to tread on what i was working on that are in none of the other similar games.
@Alphons63 Thats exactly one i mentioned. I think youre missing the aspects which make this significant for me.
Its the free collection of the pieces you use to add more to the puzzle.
That core principle is why this one in particular treads over the. Design space i wanted to eplore.
@Alphons63 Nonehad done of them had done collect pieces from the world. There were 4 games im aware which used a similar premise all of which were sliding puzzles. You can find any which had "collect the puzzle from the puzzle" or were actual freeform puzzles rather than sliding pre 2019?
I could of course still keep working on it, but its a massive dampener on my enthusiasm when many of the odeas which couldnt fot into the jam version but I'd planned or discussed in my blog also made it into Piece by Piece just for being obvious from the core premise.
@NC54472250 No. I experimented a bit with these interps but they produce a very specific effect.
Also be sure not to confuse this with generative llms. Very different. Dain is a classical interpolation algorithm.
Will post this full Jack Move char tomorrow, but wanted to try dainapp on this attack and it couldn't handle the smears. Had to manually fix :P #pixelart
@qwsazxnmlkop@atacoaday1@terrynewman@basilthegreat@grok Fortunately, a religious celebration is illegal for the council to run there.
It's a public constitutionally secular holiday market with cultural traditions (date, trees, holly, etc) predating christian adoption, peacefully walked--not interrupted--to celebrate, not provoke.
