@TheSquidCorp @darrenrovell I had the same question. Obviously he wouldn’t want all of it deferred, but seems like he could have deferred a huge chunk of it (especially if it accrued interest) to avoid the 10% payment. Although with average stock market performance, may be better to get 90% now

Associates may be tasked with doing so, or even better if you can run it thru Westlaw or something similar to check

Partners certainty would review and be well aware of the cases that were central to the briefing/arguments. But they generally were not checking every cite
