@yourfriendandy But... it's still cool to see and I wish you a lot of luck! I had fun with mining and learning about hardware until the CPA needed reporting and they charged real dollars for time. IRS rules rolled out and sucked the fun out of it. Still the in game, just not as a miner.

@stribs Two companies ago there was a really great lead who was a former CEO with some deep experience. As our work had exceeded capacity with no plans for hiring he advised “do less with less.” It always stuck with me, and helps clarify constraints — we can’t be everything to everyone

I have a lot to say about design right now but not sure where is best to say it. The high-level version is I’m seeing the best UX work is happening in-house. The space to be reflective and focus on process is like a breath of fresh air, oxygen finally back in my lungs, thankful.
I’m living proof it’s perfectly fine to smile on the subway, however, one must be a master of not making eye contact while doing this. I’m usually smiling because a good song came on my playlist, or I thought of something random/funny, or a slice of pizza is at the next stop.
