On Fox News, discussing how the progressive vision of an America-First agenda is winning more and more support. Appreciate @AmericaNewsroom for having the discussion.
With Janeese Lewis George significantly leading, but not yet called, in the Washington DC mayoral primary, that's four of the largest American cities either governed by or actively contesting a Democratic Socialist and/or DSA endorsed mayor in the last year:
- NYC (Mamdani)
- Seattle (Wilson)
- LA (Raman; final election TBD)
- D.C. (JLG)
This is an astonishing document. Not a single war aim has been achieved, but Iran receives enormous financial incentives, and even Hezbollah gets some benefits. What an absolute disaster. https://t.co/uj3990eh6q
"The fact that the strongest, mightiest military power in the world, in cooperation w/ the mightiest intelligence agency in the world—Israel’s—were not able to achieve any of their strategic objectives against a 3rd-rate regional power is quite stunning." https://t.co/dm4BBMPpGV
Among the older congressional Democrats refusing to give way to a new generation: 77-year-old Kweise Mfume. Now, an up-and-coming Baltimore city councilman is challenging him in next week's primary. @jvaughn411: https://t.co/75pyDXY0kb

Spike Lee has decided Pope Leo XIV is one of the reasons the Knicks finally won it all.
To celebrate, he paraded through Fort Greene in Brooklyn looking remarkably like a pope himself.
I’ve been telling you for months: the American pope is reshaping everything, including the NBA Finals.
“We’ve been really effective at building a megaphone and bringing accountability to folks who are on the wrong side,” TrackAIPAC co-founder Casey Kennedy, told The Intercept. “But with that success we’ve had, now we have a responsibility to offer a bridge to folks to chart a new path forward.”
Holy smokes!! 🔥🔥🔥
JD Vance to Israel opposing the MOU
"My response to them would be: What is your exact proposal? You’re a country of 9 million people. You can’t just kill your way out of solving every single national security problem that you have."
Devastating. When hospitals close, hundreds of people have to find new jobs and even more have to travel further to get healthcare. We need to pass Medicare for All to save hospitals like Sturgis all over the country.
Some common-sense things Trump said today that were nevertheless shocking:
Everybody else has ballistic missiles, why can’t Iran?
The frozen money belonged to Iran, and the U.S. needed to release it otherwise nobody would trust the dollar system. Why should we steal their money?
Neighboring countries use nuclear power for electricity, why can’t Iran?
Israel shouldn’t knock down entire buildings in Beirut every time a drone or two crashes harmlessly in the desert.
Trump would’ve become Herbert Hoover in a few weeks once oil ran out and the market crashed. He had no choice but to end the war.
I am proud to be the first Democrat to take this pledge to reject money from AIPAC and affiliated groups, recognize the genocide in Gaza, and oppose aid to Israel and military sales that kill civilians.
MSNBC in full blown meltdown mode over Iran deal.
They are furious that Iran put an end to the Israeli slaughter in Lebanon. United States corporate media is completely and utterly deranged
🇧🇷 Brazil’s Supreme Court Sentences Bolsonaro’s Son to Prison Over US Lobbying Campaign
Former congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro, son of ex-President Jair Bolsonaro, was sentenced by Brazil’s Supreme Court on Tuesday to four years and two months in prison, finding that he illegally lobbied the Trump administration to sanction Brazilian judges and pressure them to halt his father’s coup trial.
The unanimous ruling also bars him from public office for eight years. Justice Alexandre de Moraes, himself sanctioned by Washington last July, said a Brazilian lawmaker’s job “is not to lobby overseas against his own country.”
Eduardo, who has been living in the U.S. since February 2025, was sentenced in absentia. His father is serving a 27-year prison sentence for plotting a coup after losing the 2022 election to Lula.
Warnock: We have all of this naked, unabashed corruption. I don't know if Donald Trump was a billionaire or not the first time he ran, he said he was. But we all know he is now. He has made more money in this year and a half than he's made in his entire life.
He's enriching his sons… He said he was going to look out for the families of this nation. And I guess since charity begins at home, he started with his own family. He just forgot about the rest of our families.
Tonight, DC breaks with the politics of corporate power!
@Janeese4DC organizer, democratic socialist and public servant wins the Democratic primary to become the next Mayor of Washington DC.
A people-centered, worker-led movement just proved that government can work for the people. Not the wealthy. Not the well-connected. Not corporations and donors.
Tonight, DC chose an organizer who will fight for everyday working people. ✊🗳️
.@ruwaromman wins🔥
Outspent but never out organized.
The first Muslim woman elected to the Georgia State House. The first Palestinian elected to public office in the state. Now heading to the general election for Georgia State Senate SD-07.
Grassroots organizing beat the machine tonight in Georgia.
On to the general. We are not done ✌🏽
