Jeremy Corbyn got me interested in politics again after a long period of apathy. He gave me hope after years of Labour Lite Blair. He is someone who really represents me, who will stand up to the Tories and call them out on their lies. #IStandWithJeremyCorbyn
To anyone studying journalism in college or uni, you have the most wonderful opportunity. Much of the current crop of mainstream journalism has nearly destroyed the industry with lies, smears & gossip-mongering. You can be the investigative heroes that resuscitate & revitalise it
First they came for the communists, I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.
Then they came for the unions but I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a union man.
Then they came and closed the mines, I didn’t speak out because they lied.

When you dragged Rayner you brought up her having a kid at 16. But when Johnson was proven to be a liar… you never brought up the fact he had an affair while his wife had cancer and the multiple children he has to different mothers. Yeah it STINKS of misogyny and classism.
@clairebubblepop Not that proof should be needed but during lockdown, the people who kept the cogs turning were the shelf stackers, delivery drivers, people working in funeral parlours, bus drivers and so on. The people on the lowest wages.
@clairebubblepop The pandemic identified who the 'key' workers were.
Those at the top are keen for us to forget.
I don't recall there being any problems caused by CEOs sat at home doing bugger all.
Next week campaigners from across the UK are descending on London to highlight this historic injustice
The @NMPCAMPAIGN Rally will take place on WEDNESDAY 8th MAY.
We can’t stand by whilst this Government robs these national heroes blind & leaves them to die in abject poverty. Our miners were there for us, now let’s be there for them
@GrahamWarwick9 Very well said Graham. I hope that the majority of England realises, we like the English people and believe we would be good neither. It's Westminster rule and the corruption of the UK parliament we detest.
