A big topic of conversation at last night's Con and Annie Kirby Memorial Final was the wonderful artwork on the cover of our race programme.

We had run a competition in the opening rounds to design it and we were blown away by the talented young people of Limerick!

Congratulations to Ahane Camogie Club's Rebecca Minihan, aged 7, and Granagh Ballingarry Camogie Club's Kacie Scanlon, aged 11. Such talent, well done 👏

Greyhound Racing Ireland Chairman, Pat Flanagan, presented both Rebecca and Kacie with a framed copy of the programme last night.

The dynamic duo of Corona Ryan and Chris Connolly @BeamingKennels are on an absolute roll.
Zenith Gizmo remains the only unbeaten hound in the John & Mary Killeacle Dowling Memorial 570 at Tralee last night showing great track craft and ability to ride the 1st bend bump and again hunt down the leader like last week although this time it was done way earlier at the third bend.
Gizmo was unlucky @shelbournepark in the Gold Cup not to reach the final and he qualified in the Easter Cup initial round also. We knew the 525 was too short for him but 28.28 in a trial round Shelbourne suggested he had the ability but with his lack of early he always needs the breaks to go his way.
We won’t reveal his unofficial 525 trial time around Tralee until after the final but we did have to search the record books to compare the run 🚀
Unfancied by most as highlighted yesterday he was returned at a prohibitive 1/2 on the tote but somehow his SP was 2/1 ? Anyway we will leave that to others.
Our lad has a nice draw in T2 🔵 in the final and the line up is certainly interesting with 3 dogs 3 bitches and plenty of 2024 pups in there. Looking forward to heading down to Tralee for the final and meeting up with the great Liam Dowling for no doubt an arm wrestle or two ! That’s worth the 3 1/2 hour trip down from Dublin if nothing else !!
Tralee is followed the next evening with the Kirby Final night @LimkGreyhound
What an amazing weekend it hopefully will turn out to be with some of the best hounds in the country going to the traps. Zenith Racing hopes to be represented at both tracks fingers crossed.
