@todd_boehly@WatcherGuru Hi Todd! My name is Joseph Tucci. I'm a journalist for Hearst Connecticut Media Group / Greenwich Time. I was interested in talking to you for a real estate story. My number is 914-318-2813 and my email is [email protected].
@ItsTerrifiCon@MoheganSun Hi there! My name is Joseph Tucci, I'm a journalist for Hearst Connecticut Media Group. I was wondering if anyone would be a few minutes to talk to me about TERRIFICon. My email is [email protected]
Yesterday was a very special day. More than 70 reporters, photographers, editors and digital producers donned t-shirts (the whale’s name is TBD) and announced we are forming a union: the @CTnewsguild
Reporter Ethan Fry: “I’m joining with my colleagues to organize collectively so we can ensure readers throughout Connecticut get the best journalism possible.” https://t.co/byoQWs1w9F
Please take a moment to help local journalists and write a letter to Hearst mgmt showing your support for @ctnewsguild. It’s an honor to stand with my colleagues, who’ve worked tirelessly to make this happen. Reporters should afford to live in the communities they cover ✊🏻
Gov. Lamont once said he is “one of six pro-union guys in Greenwich.”
Lamont & fellow Greenwich guy Jim Himes have both signaled support for Hearst Connecticut journalists’ unionization efforts.
Lamont has a home in the mid-country while Himes lives in Cos Cob.

I'm posting here for the first time in literal years to say that my colleagues and I deserve a fair contract and that @hearstcmg should recognize the @CTnewsguild immediately!! We love local journalism and want everyone doing it to thrive. https://t.co/4aGyNAgmqU
I love this job.
I've gone running to shootings with barely a thought for my own safety. I've cried hearing relatives describe seeing loved ones die behind a window from Covid.
I'd do all that again. Any other job feels unthinkable. But, my colleagues and I deserve fair pay.
NEW—Journalists at Hearst Connecticut Media Group are working to form a union.
Senate Majority Leader @senatorduff and Labor Committee chair Julie Kushner were out with quick statements of support:
Local journalism is the heartbeat of a community. The reporters at Hearst are providing a valuable public service for everyone in Connecticut and they should be supported for the work they provide.
My colleagues put a lot of work into making this happen! The journalists at Hearst CT Media are some of the most talented reporters on the planet, and definitely deserve a seat at the table.
