Watching Mizzou at the end of that game was like following Shia LeBeouf down Bourbon Street: “That’s a bad choice. … I wouldn’t do that if I were you. … Not a great decision there. … Maybe don’t do that please.”
A dozen weird things happened afterward in that game, but that tackle for loss by Marquis Gracial on the goal line in the fourth quarter to force a field goal was huge for Mizzou to win that game.
@PowerMizzoucom@sportingnews It appears Mr. Formicola “reported” and “wrote” and posted 13 stories yesterday. This guy is a machine. No, really, he’s a machine.
@age913 That was a weird decision. They basically would need a three-and-out stop whether they punted or failed on fourth down, so why not give your offense a chance to win it?
Two straight double-digit-win seasons were nice, but today was Eli Drinkwitz’s best day as Mizzou’s coach. Stayed aggressive in a tight game and got rewarded.
When I listened to Mizzou games on the radio in the early 80s and heard the words “Andy Hill” and “Trenton, Missouri,” it was such rush of small-town pride. Holy crap, my T-ball umpire just caught a touchdown pass against Oklahoma! Great guy, great coach, great career.
Thank you @Chiefs - Coach Andy Reid and Dave Toub and the wonderful coaches and players that I was honored to be a small part of such a class organization-Top to bottom the best in the NFL! Our family says THANK YOU! 🙏
For the old timers, this Mizzou team in this SEC feels a lot like the late 80s Mizzou teams in the Big Eight. Really just missing a terrible Mizzou-themed rap song to take it to the next level.
@Ben_Fred@stltoday@stlhensley@BJC_HealthCare Congrats on fighting the good fight and doing it well. Now prepare to experience what we in the corporate communications game like to call "evenings and weekends off."
Excited about what the Chiefs offense will be able to accomplish once they start playing a left tackle who can mildly inconvenience opposing edge rushers.
