I voted NO on the $350 million+ Jersey City bailout Bill.

This bill A5326 is loaded with pork and dumps over $100 Million into Jersey City, which is a taxpayer funded reward for gross mismanagement. Our big cities spend recklessly, refuse to cut costs, and run to Trenton for "loans" that will likely never be repaid.

This bill even contains a special funding carve-out for the hazelnut. The hazelnut aspires to be the state nut of New Jersey, it isn't (not yet anyway) and it certainly doesn't deserve seed money for a non existent industry.

Hardworking NJ families are struggling with record inflation and high property taxes. The state treasury can ill afford to be an ATM for cities that refuse to budget and nutty projects that could be privately funded.
