A few weeks ago I wrote that the pieces were being put in place, and that in time the picture would speak for itself.
This is that picture. Or part of it.

A structure still under construction, in orbit. A few panels lit, most of it still dark. Each one is a business we are building around a single core, and there is far more ahead of us than behind us.

We have agreed the first pieces. What we build with them comes next, and that is the part that matters.
Products originated, managed and distributed in-house. The cash they generate turned into more Bitcoin per share.

We are building it for the long term, and for every shareholder who is with us for the journey.
When every panel is finally lit, the pieces stop being pieces. They fuse into a single body, whole and self-contained, with Bitcoin at its core.
A planet.
Metaplanet.

数週間前、さまざまな取り組みが少しずつ形になりつつあり、時が来れば自ずと見えてくるはずだとお伝えしました。
これが、その絵です。
ただし、まだ一部に過ぎません。
軌道上に浮かぶ、建設途中の構造物。灯りが点っているのは、まだ数区画だけ。大部分は、まだ暗いままです。
その一つひとつが、私たちが一つの核の周りに築いている事業です。これまで歩んできた道のりよりも、これから歩む道のりのほうが、はるかに長い。

最初のピースについては、すでに契約を結びました。
しかし、それらで何を築くのかは、これからです。そこにこそ、本質があります。
自ら商品を組成し、組み立て、届ける。
そこから生まれるキャッシュフローを、一株あたりのビットコインへと変えていく。
すべての区画は、同じ核につながっています。

すべての区画に灯りが点ったとき、ピースはもはやピースではなくなります。
それらは一つに溶け合い、中心にビットコインを宿した、一つのプラネットになります。

私たちは、それを長期の視点で築いていきます。

We are pleased to announce that Metaplanet has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Siiibo Securities, a licensed Type I securities firm and a pioneer of Japan's online corporate bond market. Following closing, expected in July, the company will be renamed Metaplanet Securities. This is Metaplanet's first major acquisition and the first concrete step in Project Nova, our long-term strategy to build a Bitcoin-centric financial ecosystem in Japan.

The significance is hard to overstate. Japanese households hold roughly $7.4 trillion in cash, deposits and low-yield products, and as Japan shifts from deflation to inflation, that capital has begun searching for yield. By bringing Siiibo's Type I registration and online securities platform into the group, we will develop and distribute Bitcoin-related yield products directly to Japanese investors, supported by the 40,177 BTC on our balance sheet, the largest corporate Bitcoin treasury in Asia.

We have great respect for Kazuki Komura and the team at Siiibo Securities and what they have built. Together, as Metaplanet Securities, we will bring new yield opportunities to Japan.

Siiibo証券株式会社の全株式取得に関する契約を締結したことをご報告いたします。同社は第一種金融商品取引業者であり、国内個人向け社債オンラインプラットフォームの先駆的存在です。7月に予定するクロージング後、「株式会社メタプラネット証券」へ商号を変更する予定です。本件は当社初の本格的なM&Aであり、ビットコインを中核とする金融エコシステムの構築を目指すProject Novaにおける、最初の具体的な一歩となります。

日本の家計には、約1,190兆円が現預金や低利回り商品として滞留しています。デフレからインフレへの転換とともに、資金は利回りを求めて動き始めています。Siiibo証券が有する第一種金融商品取引業登録およびオンライン証券プラットフォームをグループに迎えることで、アジア最大規模となる40,177 BTCの保有を基盤に、ビットコイン関連の利回り商品を日本の投資家の皆様に提供していく体制を整えてまいります。

小村和輝代表 (@kazukikomura)とSiiibo証券のチームが築いてきたものに、深い敬意を表します。メタプラネット証券として、日本に新たな「利回り」の選択肢を届けてまいります。

$BTC 底打ちとか言い出すのは楽観過ぎ、と戒める雰囲気に便乗して季節性の資料を置いておきます。

直近だと4～6月は大体下げ気味で、8月が1勝4敗で酷い夏枯れ。逆に10～12月が強い印象。

最悪の2022年（テラとFTXの年）は参考程度で。

マクロ視点で見た足元の株高の背景には、2024年頃から続く「世界的な法定通貨への信認低下」の流れがあると考えています。
2024年から2025年前半にかけてはBTCが買われ、2025年後半は金が買われ、そして足元では株が買われています。世界的な債券安も、この同じ流れの一環でしょう。
イラン問題はあくまできっかけに過ぎず、世界各国で「インフレに対して財政支出で対抗する」議論が高まっています。この文脈では、BTCにもいずれ順番が回ってくるとみており、足元で株高についていけていないように見えても、大きく値崩れするとは考えていません。
