After roughly 9 hours stranded in Saudi Arabia following the attempted attack on their flight, the Israeli passengers have finally landed safely at Ben Gurion.

From staring death in the face at 30,000 feet to landing safely in Saudi Arabia, and now finally home in Israel.

Praise God. What an unbelievable miracle.

The pilot who was stabbed on FlyDubai flight 1073 has been identified as Captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian national based in Dubai, reports @ariel_oseran.

"This morning, there was a serious security incident on a flight from Dubai to Israel. Almost all the passengers on the flight were Israelis. During the flight, as they approached the country, one of the pilots stabbed the second pilot, and apparently tried to crash the plane with everyone on board.

I spoke with one of the Israeli passengers. He told me that the plane went into a spin and began to dive. He told me that, somehow or other, he managed to break into the cockpit with one of the crew members, and that together they neutralized the stabbing pilot while he was trying to sabotage the plane's systems. Another flight crew on board entered the cockpit and managed to stabilize the plane.

I salute these heroes, who displayed exceptional resourcefulness and courage. They saved many lives. They prevented a huge disaster.

The plane landed safely at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. All passengers are out of danger. The stabbing pilot was arrested and is currently being interrogated by the Saudi authorities.

We are maintaining constant communication with the relevant authorities to ensure the ongoing well-being of the passengers and their safe return home.

I have instructed the security services to prepare for additional potential threats.

A horrific terrorist attack and potential mass casualty disaster unfolded in the skies today.

A pilot aboard a Flydubai flight carrying Israelis from Dubai to Tel Aviv tried to seize control of the aircraft and crash it.

The co-pilot fought back and was wounded in a violent struggle inside the cockpit. The aircraft transmitted the emergency code associated with unlawful interference and then plunged approximately 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds.

Imagine being inside that plane.

Passengers screaming. Blood inside the aircraft. Families believing they were seconds away from death.

People started praying.

But passengers and crew fought back.

They helped overpower the terrorist, regain control of the aircraft, and save the wounded pilot as the plane was diverted for an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.

Around 150 people boarded a routine flight to Tel Aviv this morning.

For terrifying moments, they believed they were about to die.

Instead, courage prevailed.

150 people are alive because people aboard that aircraft refused to surrender.

A miracle in the air.

For those who have been asking, and for those who have been following this journey - yes, 1 am living in the bush. I only leave for services and engagements as He instructs me, and I return as soon as they are over. I am spending this season in prayer, seeking God, and learning to be still in His presence.

This morning, I took some time out to interact with the animals at Good News City, and once again, I found myself overwhelmed by the goodness of God.

God is extraordinary. There are things He does in the quiet places that words cannot fully explain. Away from the noise, I am learning to hear Him more clearly, depend on Him more deeply, and experience His presence in a completely different way.

I am deeply grateful for His love, His grace, His mercy, and His forgiveness. I know that I am here only because of Him.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord.
Worthy is His name.
All glory belongs to Him.
All honour belongs to Him.
All praise belongs to Him.

This season in the bush is not about escaping life - it is about drawing closer to the One who gave me life.

God, You are extraordinary. You are holy. You are faithful. You are worthy. And my heart is simply grateful to You.

Billionaire businessman Sir Wicknell Chivhayo has honoured two long-serving members of his legal team, Mr Wilson Tatenda Manase and Advocate Sylvester Hashiti, with luxury vehicles and substantial cash gifts in appreciation of decades of professional service, loyalty and friendship.

Chivhayo gifted Mr Manase, whom he says he has known since 1998, a brand-new 2026 Lexus GX 550 valued at US$220,000 plus US$250,000 cash.

Advocate Hashiti received a 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography together with US$500,000 cash.

Chivhayo described the two lawyers as trusted figures who stood by him through different stages of his life and business journey, saying relationships built over decades deserve to be recognised and celebrated.
