.@USDA has NEVER had access to State SNAP data. Not until this Administration demanded it.
That’s why every figure from years past is meaningless. From the 29 states that DID share data, we’ve already identified at least $3 billion a year in fraud.
Extrapolated nationwide: more than $10 billion. This isn’t “erroneous payments.”
This is FRAUD — and yes, @RepAngieCraig, I know the difference. Do you?

Did you know that federal employees can add anyone to their health insurance plan with NO accountability?
I requested a report on this and found out around ONE BILLION DOLLARS per YEAR went towards fraudulent coverage. Government employees NEVER had to verify if the person they were adding was family. I introduced the FEHB Protection Act, which became law, to fix this problem and stop the fraud.
Americans deserve a system with accountability, not a free-for-all funded by federal tax dollars.
In 2021, Canadian media and institutions basically hallucinated the discovery of 215 children’s bodies in a mass grave near a former Catholic residential school. The evidence: radar saw soil disturbances that could have been tree roots. A wave of church arsons ensued.
People making the case for censorship often urge that destructive manias like this can be suppressed/soothed if we prevent people from communicating about them. And here was a perfect case: false information was being recklessly (or maliciously) amplified, leading to literal hate crimes. Shouldn’t the censors do something?
But the mass-grave craze infected the censorship class, so opposition got targeted instead. At least one “disinformation” NGO categorized skepticism as “hate speech,” and Canada even saw efforts to criminalize so-called “denialism” (drawing an absurd comparison to the Holocaust).
Good for the Globe and Mail to come clean.
@ChristianHeiens Progressive/Socialist Democrat economic policies are just like what they did to education. In the name of “equity” they bring down everyone and everything to lower levels. “Progressive” is actually regressive with their actions. https://t.co/2gmfzy4xYm

People seem to be misinterpreting why Seattle is fucked. Seattle is not fucked because they over-regulate big business or because of the “millionaire’s tax.” They’re fucked because they overregulate small and mid-sized businesses which caused a massive localized inflationary spiral that is forcing out big businesses because labor costs are too high
Seattle massively over regulated the service sector by imposing gargantuan minimum wages on restaurants and delivery apps + implementing a zillion other regulations that caused service sector costs to soar. Seattle’s housing prices are actually *declining* but their inflation rate has been 1-1.5 points higher than the national average despite reduced housing costs. This is caused mainly by food service prices rising at 7% a year due to Seattle’s minimum wage policies and excessive service sector regulations. Inflation in Seattle is now 5% and nominal wage growth is 3%, meaning real wages fell 2% in the last twelve months
High local inflation forced big companies to pay artificially high wages because highly paid corporate workers expect wages to keep up with living costs. On top of that, Seattle has a payroll tax that almost exclusively applies to huge companies. Those big companies are therefore paying insane wages to do business in Seattle, whereas if they relocated, they could pay people the same real wages relative to local cost of living and save tens of millions a year in corporate labor costs alone
But here’s the thing: Because Seattle overregulated their small and midsize businesses, those businesses are now operating on razor thin margins and are reliant on highly paid corporate workers who can pay exorbitant prices in order to stay in business. So when a corporate office relocates out of Seattle, all of the local restaurants collapse because they no longer have a customer base who can afford the prices they have to charge due to Seattle’s regulatory environment
What this means is that as corporations cut payroll in Seattle the entire city’s service sector is imploding, which has resulted in localized stagflation. Their whole labor market is quickly evaporating and now they have 5.5% unemployment, 5% inflation, and -2% real wage growth.
None of this has anything to do with the “millionaire’s tax” because the companies are leaving before the people do. Why would companies care about a tax on ultra high incomes that doesn’t impact their cost of doing business?
HISTORY LESSON ON YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD:
Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn’t know this. It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your family and friends. They need a little history lesson on what’s what and it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are FACTS.
Up until the 1980's, Social Security cards expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes.
Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the "NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION" message was removed.
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. His promises are in black, with updates in brackets.
1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary [No longer voluntary],
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program [Now 7.65% on the first $90,000, and 15% on the first $90,000 if you’re self-employed],
3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year [No longer tax deductible]
4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program [Under Johnson the money was moved to the General Fund and spent]
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income [Under Clinton & Gore up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed].
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’ — you may be interested in the following.
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democratic Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US
AND MY FAVORITE:
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?
A: That’s right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments!
The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
Now, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!
And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it!
If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, though.
Some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn’t so but it’s worth a try.
How many people can YOU send this to?
Watch this until the end. This a video I took of Columbus Circle outside of Union Station in Washington D.C in 2022. Union station is two blocks from the US Capitol. It is where thousands of tourists come through every single day, both domestic and international, to witness the glory and grandeur of our nation. Columbus Circle is a national monument and is managed by the Department of Interior which, at this point in time, was under the Biden administration. This is what tourists used to see every day when visiting the seat of the federal government.
This is what progressive policies look like in action. Progressivism is simply brutality and ugliness hidden behind supposed empathy. It is shameful and disgusting.
Make no mistake: decline is a choice, not an inevitability. You will always receive what you vote for.
When we say we want to make America beautiful again, this is what we mean. This is embarassing at the least, and outright evil at worst. It is a mockery of our nation and our values.

Restoring the capital as the pinnacle of the best nation in the world is not a vanity project. Trump is the only President to really do something about it after he realized Congress won’t help. Fix DC, get Pratt in as Mayor of LA and Hilton governor, and the rest of restoring American greatness will follow.
How about the @SanDiegoCounty step in here to help? Even though this is a @SDCityCouncil beach and park, it is used by County residents. Many people come from East County and other cities.
Time for some outside the box thinking.

I asked @SteveHiltonx for top 3 policy changes if he's elected California Governor:
-No state income tax for those earning under $100K
-Cap vehicle registration fees
-Scrap small business taxes
He says he can make up the savings in fraud and abuse.

@TimRunsHisMouth FCC chairman Carr is asking for public comment about The View being a news program or not. Make your voice heard. Type in “The View” if the # doesn’t work.
https://t.co/Z99QTLI5JW
Disney has filed a petition with the FCC asking the agency to declare that The View is exempt from the statutory equal opportunities requirements that would otherwise apply to broadcast shows.
Disney argues that The View qualifies as “bona fide news” under the law, comparing itself to Meet The Press or Face The Nation.
Therefore, Disney argues, it can have one partisan candidate for office on The View while denying equal opportunities to all others.
The FCC is now seeking public comment on Disney’s request to be labeled as “bona fide news.”
Is The View a “bona fide news interview program”?
Under FCC case law, tv shows do not qualify as “bona fide news” if their decisions are based on partisan purposes, such as an intention to advance or harm an individual’s candidacy.
As the Public Notice observes, Congress originally passed the equal opportunities law to prevent media gatekeepers from deciding the outcome of elections. The law, even when it applies, does not prohibit anyone from having any candidate appear on any show. Rather, Congress intended it to empower voters with more information and encourage more speech.
The FCC welcomes your views:

4.6 million CA Republicans have not voted.
Do you know who this gloating Paul Mitchell is? That’s the “architect” of our new Prop 50 maps and why EDC is now voting for Matsui or a communist. Which incidentally, is also a result of 4 million Republicans NOT voting. Get your acts together Republicans!!! @E_Barcohana@CAGOP@RoxanneHoge
