Knicks fans aren't mad that the game is physical. It's the fact that only ONE team is allowed to be physical. You can't let all types of shit slide on one end and call ticky tack fouls on the other. Just be consistent with both teams. That's all
I’m sure everyone already understands this but I just need to state it here.
I can’t get over the fact that THE HEAD OF THE REFEREES ASSOCIATION WENT ON LIVE NATIONAL TELEVISION AND SAID IT WAS A MISSED CALL
AND THEY STILL DIDN’T UPGRADE IT
I FEEL LIKE I’M TAKING CRAZY PILLS
Both teams were physical. However, only the Spurs were allowed to be. Knicks fans are asking for an even whistle.
And, everyone understands that refs will miss calls. The issue has been missing calls that are not hard to make, and all of those missed calls going against the Knicks.
@HPbasketball It’s not being called the same on both sides though. Bridges 2 fouls instantly to start the game. 3 Knicks fouls instantly to start the 4th. Castle has 2 hands on anyone he defends. Just call the same style both ways.
I cannot believe the NBA allowed the first Finals game in the Garden since 1999 to be dictated by the referees.
All we ask for is an even sided whistle.
This exactly why i was nervous.
I wasn’t expecting a sweep but my lord
Game 1 officiating was bad but not egregious.
Game 2 the league ABSOLUTELY NEEDED a 1-1 series so the officiating got significantly worse yet the Knicks managed to win.
So then game 3 somehow the officiating got even worse bc there was no way Silver could afford a 3-0 series
The New York Knicks have outscored their opponents by 272 points in the past 12 games
That's the best 12-game stretch from any team in NBA history, regular season or playoffs
