Today we remember Private Tony Carlos Harrison, who was murdered by Provisional IRA terrorists on 19th June 1991.
Tony was 21 years old, from London, and serving with the Parachute Regiment (3rd Battalion). He had joined the Army in 1986 and was a popular member of C Company, 3 PARA. He had completed previous tours in Northern Ireland and was based at Palace Barracks, Holywood.
Tony was off-duty and visiting his fiancée at her home in Nevis Avenue, East Belfast, to finalise their wedding plans. The area was generally considered safe for members of the security forces at the time.
Two Provisional IRA gunmen forced their way into the house after his fiancée answered a knock at the door. They shot Tony five times in the back as he sat on the sofa. Also present were his fiancée’s mother and a 10-year-old girl, who witnessed the attack.
Tony had met his fiancée while serving in Northern Ireland. He was just three weeks short of his 22nd birthday. No one has ever been convicted of his murder. One individual was later convicted of conspiracy to murder in connection with the attack.
Thoughts and prayers are with Tony’s family and all the innocent victims and survivors of this brutal and callous murder. Lest we forget.

Some of the rape gang victims did not make it out of hell alive.
In the year 2000, Lucy Lowe had been raped by an older Pakistani man for years. She was 16 when taxi driver Azhar Ali Mehmood (her rapist) set her house in Telford on fire.
Lucy burned alive along with her mother, her disabled sister, and Lucy's unborn child. Only the father survived.
Lucy had at that point already given birth to a rape baby, who is today a grown woman.
Never forget.
Never forgive.
When his patrol became trapped in a minefield in Afghanistan, Corporal Mark Wright repeatedly risked his own life to save others.
For his extraordinary bravery, he was posthumously awarded the George Cross.

Hi. My name is Liv. I've struggled with my mental health for a long time and currently homeless. I'm also an alcoholic. I want to make my account public again to hopefully make friends with people going through similar. Please don't judge or be mean. Life's not a Disney movie.
