I’ve pretty much completely migrated to Mastodon (https://t.co/Z4R7W5YhwV) at this point. Great community and zero ads piercing every part of the experience. It’s not a perfect place and definitely different to Twitter but it’s been great so far.

more people oriented, not bloated to the eyeballs with advertisements and is more community centric then I recommend checking out Mastodon. There are many niche instances you can join for different interests or just a local one like https://t.co/Z4R7W5YhwV.

Looks like hosting your own Mastodon server is going to cost less than paying for a blue checkmark on Twitter. Except when you pay to host your own Mastodon server, you own your data, identity, and social graph fully.

Very glad I brought my umbrella ☔️ to work! The area I live in it’s unheard of to not drive everywhere you go, partly due to distances but also laziness, carrying an umbrella around definitely makes me the odd one out.

My biggest three issues; RCS support, notification overhaul, spam call/text management.

This is going to be the deciding factor next year when I’m looking to upgrade. If iOS 17 is another incremental update than I might be getting an Android phone for the first time.
