See fig. 2 cluster 4. That’s where the VI-A group sits. It’s one of the more interesting S. stercoralis groups. A dog worm that sometimes gets into people and also cats. Probably a promiscuous stercoralis type. Was the owner tested?

SsIR/NIE ELISA for Strongyloides stercoralis is an important step toward a routine Strongyloides serological test. The test was reliable for post-treatment monitoring, though some technical issues must be fixed before routine use.
