@GeraldBourguet@_anthonynash Yeah, beyond one of the worst quarters of basketball I’ve ever witnessed, the Suns were consistently bad throughout the rest of the game.
@protectedpick Correct. But none of the starters did those things at all or anything they were tasked with doing either, so him solely giving effort already put him ahead of the rest of the starting 5. Oso certainly was better, but he’s not changing that much in the first quarter.
Legitimately, if Booker played more like Dillon when he gets just one guy on him and can just push them around it would likely create some offense. Use the strength and the savvy ball handling to create instead of slow, methodical PnR snaking and the same damn elbow J.
I want Devin Booker to lead the league in charges against. I think it would likely lead to him being far more effective than the way he’s looked last season and so far tonight. Actually be aggressive and fully commit to bully ball.
@RyB_311 I hate to think it, but it really did start going downhill once CP3 left. He’s an awesome rhythm scorer and lights up when he’s aggressive. But he’s stuck between playing “bag ball” and trying to be the playmaking engine now.
From the play-in games to the playoff series to how he was talking this offseason about his approach to come out game 1 and do this it’s just man
I really don’t want to think the things I think about a player I love this much
@swaveyxquis Definitely isn’t one guy’s fault. But Booker does absolutely deserve criticism after being so passive in the first half following saying all off-season that he would be more aggressive and seek his shots.
@swaveyxquis Thing is, the offense looks awful early as well. Out of sync and poor ball movement along with lazy passes and dribbles leading to turnovers. It’s literally the worse case scenario on all sides of the ball right now lol.
Booker looks either tired or low energy. Shorted the shot attempts and didn’t fight around the screen on the Ja 3. Hope that’s just shaking off the rust.
