@SnarkMessier Watch how he played without Panarin. He was now the guy carrying the play. Contrary to what one may believe 10 was anchoring Lafs true abilities. If he remains healthy and plays with purpose im going 75+ points
@TopTierPucks@SleeperNHL@PUCKD_@hockeyalchemy First of all, almost every fan base is brain dead, however I cant get behind the Islanders being “Very Smart” they should be recategorized as “Braindead” considering they cheer “defense” on the penalty kill like it’s the NBA
@NYRAfterDark Sleeper team, if Laf takes that next step I’m hopeful for an 80+ season, Perrault takes the next step this team is serious. Key is going to be health. A healthy Miller is a 75+ guy. Sneaky 2nd place if it all goes well.
@2G1CRangers@DaveyUpper Panarin was legitimately an anchor. The whole team deferred to him whenever he was on the ice. He did more harm than good. While there is no denying his talent, it prevented them from playing a cohesive game. Ironically I believe he held back Laf, 13 needs to be the puck carrier
@StatBoy_Steven Perrault Zibanejad and Lafreniere were excellent together last year. I really dont understand why break them up, especially since it looked like Laf was getting into a groove
@GaryGaryBoBarry@NYRLouie Lol I personally think it will be beneficial to him to gain some of that confidence he had back vs Carolina/Florida in the playoffs and let him now become the guy. If that doesn’t finally wake him up then I’m done.
@washghost1 The funny thing is that if the men played vs them down two men the entire game via 5 on 3 the men would still win this game by double digits
@overton_news Have to love a hockey player, doesnt even mention his own name. It’s always we, never braggadocios even though he knows he is awesome, pure class. Any garbage pail in the NBA would have made it about them, they are exactly what is wrong with this country.
@NYRLouie now that Panarin is gone do you think this is potentially beneficial to Laf? I felt as though Laf deferred to the older guys. Maybe now with a little sense of seniority we can see him regain that 23/24 confidence.
@bulldog771177@BroadwayHatsNYR Trouba was a steaming pile of dog shit that looked as though he was skating in mud, constantly out of position going for big hits. 100% cost them that Tampa series as well vs Florida. Then was a cry baby bitch bc he didn’t want to get traded to a team not on his ntc. Fuck him
@FPugliese@DaveyUpper While something is always better than nothing, id honestly rather let him walk and get nothing out of principle. I know its stupid but a trade like that is more of an abomination
@DaveyUpper This may sound dumb to people but landing a Defenseman in the draft would be so underwhelming, for once in this franchises history can they draft someone that becomes a face of the NHL and can take over games offensively
@NYRLouie If there was no such thing as NMC‘s or NTC‘s and the Rangers had a competent general manager after the loss to Florida in 24 this team would have the best farm system in the entire NHL
@ColiseumNassau@spittinchiclets Let me ask you a question being that the lease was up had they been generating revenue and drawing a crowd do you think the county would have wanted them to renew the lease?
