@Men_Of_Purpose Eventually, he has to relay the loan with interest. So, to do that he then sells stock, pays a taxable gain (likely a long-term gain), plus the interest on the loan.
It’s not something Elon figured out, as anyone can do it and it’s been done for years by many.
