@bumbadum14 I would be curious about non-LA elections, how many people voted in local elections but not for governor.
Or other measures on the LA ballot that didn’t receive votes but there was one cast for mayor.
The chart tells the whole story.
Election night, first dump comes in. Pratt goes up. Bass is dropping. Raman is in third where she’s been all campaign.
Somewhere in Los Angeles, someone looks at these numbers and has a very bad night.
Next few updates Bass flatlines, Raman starts climbing with almost the exact inverse of Pratt’s line. Like they’re pulling directly from him.
But then someone notices it’s getting too obvious. So they pull back and let some of Pratt’s real numbers breathe. But they have to keep feeding Raman, so they take from Bass instead. Bass starts falling.
Then Bass hits 35% and somebody panics. Can’t let her go any lower. So they flatline her right there and just start taking everything from Pratt and handing it to Raman. At this point they’ve stopped pretending.
Dump after dump, Pratt’s line and Raman’s line become almost a mirror image of each other, until they’re basically tied.
Not once in 15 dumps did Raman go down. If this were random chance, each candidate having a one in three shot of gaining in any given update, the odds of Raman gaining every single time are 1 in 14.3 million.
They didn’t even try to hide it.
@TridentTrue Not knowing age/contract, I’m not sure any are tradable. Clubs the Ms would trade with are looking for quality prospects, not immediate players. All the pitchers are immediate players.
Maybe a playoff contender but those aren’t looking to give away bats.
Maybe a 3 team trade?
@marxiners My wishlist for Ichiro’s number retirement was
1) attend the ceremony
2) watch Naylor steal
3) cheer for Canzone above everyone else.
I went 3/3 that day.
